Vina Rae's Grill N Graze
Avard, Oklahoma. Halloween - 2003
Temperature was maintained at 55 - 65 degrees F.
Vina Rae's Grill and Graze is home to several past residents of Avard, OK. As TGI discovered on Halloween, 2003.
This cafe is located in the little town of Avard, Oklahoma. Population 34. Avard is a rural town located between Alva and Waynoka in NW Oklahoma. Woods County.
As the diner is located on a rural route, there is no exact address. However, directions from Waynoka are 7 miles North on HWY 14, then turn east, drive 5 more miles and you will be in town. The cafe is located in the old high school gymnasium. You can not miss the building. It is the largest one there.
The property was donated to the town in the late 1940's to build a gymnasium. Nan Wheatly set up her cafe in the west end of the building in 1995. Since then, she and her patrons have experienced hearing voices, footsteps, objects moving and echo mists. They have taken many photos of orbs and plasmoids. A woman in the green dress was seen sitting in one of the booths just after the cafe opened in 1995. Also, a headless woman was reported seen floating through the wall and through another wall out of site.
We arrived at the cafe at approx. 3:30 pm and began a preliminary walk-through the building after a light supper of witch's brew stew. The ELF and Profi meters were very quiet. After a quiet walk through, we crawled up the staircase to the attic area. Much energy was captures by several orb and plasmoid photos. However, the meters were very quite. There were no power sources nearby or electrical fixtures.
When prelim concluded, we began to set up for the evening's presentations. The schedule included a 30 to 45 minute presentation by TGI, and a tour of the main hallways by Nan and her friend, Kay. There were three sessions of presentations and tours.
The first set was very interesting. During the first walk through, the area designated vortex was active. The air upon approach of the vortex was clear, upon entering the vortex, our eyes fogged over. Members of the tour group experienced the same. occurrence. Thinking this optical even may have been caused by a single black-light set up at the end of the hall, we turned away from it but the fog, smoke machine, or foggy weather reports. The fog was very dense in spots, but not visible unless you stood directly in it. I sensed it was indeed the vortex.
Once at the end of the hall, the tour guests were permitted to take photos and walk alone if desired. Several interesting photos were captured by the group.
During the second tour, the fog appeared at the same locations. As indicated above, during the preliminary walk-through, both ELF meters were very quiet. However, researcher AP walked through one of the side rooms with a small group of folks from the tour. The meter spiked to 5 and a felling of oppression overcame the group. Amy's chest tightened and boxes fell on the floor blocking the path into the room. The group quickly ran out. A few screams where heard. Needless to say, this group was very excited!
Later that evening, I entered the room with Profi II and it spiked to 4. I received a very clear stay out impression. The room was filled with boxes and storage.
During the third group tour, the fog came and went again. The tour group was advised to not enter t5he rooms along the main hallway. Nan and Kay were worried someone would get hurt. These rooms were full of storage items.
Final sit-down began at 11:30 pm. During this session, the video captured many tiny orbs and streaks of light around the table we were sitting.
