2nd Street, Tulsa, OK

Preliminary Report

The homeowner moved into the home in 1991 with her two daughters.  Her father had recently inherited the house from his stepmother who had passed away.

Her grandfather purchased the home in the 1940’s and had lived there until he passed away in the late 1980’s.  The current homeowner lived in the house with her daughters until 1992, when she married and moved into her husband’s home.   The house remained empty until 1994 when she, her husband and two daughters moved back in.

She eventually purchased the home from her father.  It was during this period of time the youngest daughter advised she had seen a man in her room at night and that he read her a story.

The homeowner had herself experienced seeing a man standing next to her bed.  She remembers the man was in a black suite with a bright white shirt and a thin black tie.  When she tried to look at the face, it was then she noticed he had no head.

She did learn her grandfather was buried in the black suit, however his head was intact!

Other experiences reported by the homeowner:

  1. Shadows out of the corner of her eyes.

  2. Cleaning her car in the driveway when she heard a very loud and clear voice call her name.Scared her enough to run inside the house and lock the door. This has also occurred while watching TV and sitting on the sofa.

  3. The odor of a man’s cologne starts as a faint smell and it gets stronger and stronger and then, she felt cold chills.

  4. Every once in a while, the doorbell will ring.  No one was there and this is followed by the smell of cologne and cold spot.

  5. The dog will alert the owner of unseen activity by barking and growling.

  6. Her husband, being a skeptic, has had his own unusual experience.  He awoke one night to the sound of something hitting the wall, and then rolling on the floor.   When he awoke in the morning to see what the object was, he saw it was a penny in the spot where he felt he ad heard that object stop.

  7. At approx. 12:15 am, the homeowner lies in bed for a minute and heard very clear footsteps in her living room.  She got up, turned the lights on, and checked the house.  All was clear.  at 2:43 am, the same thing occurred.

  8. Very loud banging on the bedroom walls loud enough to wake the homeowner has occurred twice over the past few month.

After a sweep and gathering of baseline readings, it was very clear that due to the remodeling and upgrading of the home’s appliance, which were energy efficient products, the ELF and gauss readings were nominal to none.  All readings were very low and considered to be very healthy levels for a home.

Only the south wall in the living room appeared to indicate fluctuations in EPF ranging from 3 to a full 5 mill gauss.  After review of this area, it was determined a furnace used to be behind the wall, therefore, some left over piping or copper wiring may have been the cause of the unusual meter spike.

During the second sit-down of the evening which took place in the master bedroom, a low, male voice which sounded like a grumble was heard by all.   It was not captured on audio or video!  Sad to say!

During the 3 sit-down, CS and VR were sitting at the kitchen table when CS smelled burning hair.  It was later advised by the homeowner that her step-grandmother did set the kitchen on fire and did burn herself.

One strange instance was the sound of a coffee maker brewing.  Those in the living room thought it was coming from the kitchen, those in the kitchen thought it was coming from the living room.

During the last sit-down of the evening, JP was laying on the master bedroom bed with a water bottle securely leaning into his side.  With his camera on NV and pointing at him, the camera recorded his bottle suddenly dropped over and onto the bed.  Again, the bottle appeared to be securely leaning against his body.  He did state the bottle felt very cold to him when he touched it.

Taking into consideration the investigation was approx. 6 hours in length, and no EVP or unusual data was collected on a scientific level, this home is experiencing at least a heavy “residual” activity.
